HAI receives the certificate of recognition of the Austrian SDG Award

Hammerer Aluminium Industries (HAI) received a certificate of recognition from the Austrian SDG Award. The Austrian SDG Award goes to companies for exemplary implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Ranshofen (09.12.2024) – With the certificate of recognition from the Austrian SDG Awards, HAI was able to underline its great commitment to fulfilling the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Certificate of recognition of the Austrian SDG Award

The certificates of recognition of the Austrian SDG Awards are presented by the Senate of Economy in cooperation with the Austrian National Council to honour the commitment and efforts of companies that contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The aim of the Austrian SDG Awards is to raise awareness of the SDGs in society and to put the spotlight on exemplary achievements and endeavours. 

“We are delighted to receive the certificate of recognition. We have been consistently implementing our sustainability strategy since 2019. Since then, we have been able to reduce our emissions by 25 per cent. We will continue to consistently pursue our path with the clear goal of being one of the most sustainable suppliers of aluminium solutions,” comments sustainability expert Marlene Johler.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

The UN Sustainable Development Goals comprise 17 goals for sustainable development worldwide that are to be achieved by 2030. These goals were adopted by the United Nations (UN) in 2015.
