Ranshofen (17.10.2024) – The aluminum expert Hammerer Aluminium Industries (HAI) was also represented at ALUMINIUM in Düsseldorf in 2024. The world’s leading trade fair with over 800 exhibitors is the industry meeting place for the entire aluminum industry and its most important application areas. In 2024, the HAI Group focused on the presentation of the sustainable aluminum alloys SustainAl and an intensive exchange on sustainability and recycling with the trade audience in Düsseldorf. The HAI Group’s experts were also represented as speakers at numerous ALUMINIUM side events.

Focus on sustainable SustainAl alloys

At the HAI Group’s trade fair stand in 2024, the focus was on the sustainable aluminum alloys SustainAl. The HAI Group is committed to consistently reducing its corporate carbon footprint and can offer products with an impressively low CO2 footprint with its SustainAl alloys.

The HAI Group has long been a pioneer in the reduction ofCO2 emissions in the aluminum industry. TheCO2 footprint of SustainAl 2.0 is approx. 2 tons and for SustainAl 4.0 approx. 4 tons per ton of aluminium. This means that HAI’s sustainable alloys are well below both international and European averages. With SustainAl, the HAI Group offers the transportation, construction and industrial sectors a strong lever for reducingCO2 emissions while maintaining the same material quality.

“Our mission is to support our customers in credibly reducing their carbon footprint. That’s why it was important to us to show at the trade fair the ways in which we are implementing our sustainability strategy and how we can find solutions together. With our SustainAl 2.0 and SustainAl 4.0 alloy variants, we have the opportunity to make a significant contribution in a simple and transparent way,” says CEO Rob van Gils, underlining the HAI Group’s expertise.

Exchange for new dynamics in the aluminum industry

“ALUMINIUM is the world’s leading trade fair for one of the most exciting materials of our time. Even though the tense economic situation in Europe continues to hit the entire industry hard, I am convinced that we were able to strengthen our community and drive forward the future of the aluminum industry through the personal exchange at the trade fair and the discussion of current industry topics,” sums up Rob van Gils.

New contacts were made and existing customers were welcomed at the HAI Group’s 210 m² stand. To ensure the best possible quality of advice, the HAI Group relied on a broad-based trade fair team with experts for the respective industry solutions and in the area of sustainability.

“The face-to-face meetings with our customers and partners were very positive and informative for us. We were also able to hold important contract talks directly at the trade fair,” emphasizes Rob van Gils.
